Breast cancer is the second most common form of cancer in American women, behind skin cancer. Nearly 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lives. And it also can affect men as well, which is why it's extra important to make sure to get screened and detect it early. This breast cancer awareness month learn more about breast cancer, get tested and help convince others to get screened as well. While breast cancer is most common in woman 50 and older breast cancer can affect younger people as well. Per the CDC about 9% of new breast cancer cases in the US occur to women younger than 45. Being happy and healthy is something that we should all strive for and be proud of. So, this October take the first step in being healthy and get screened.
